Hi there....
I’m Shelly – a wine-loving, cheese-obsessed, wedding enthusiast who’s lucky enough to call being a celebrant my job
(seriously, how cool is that?)
I’m also a proud mum to two sassy daughters, Grace and Lara, a Kelpie named Nippa, and a cat called Tigger who thinks he runs the house. Spoiler alert: he does.
When I’m not wrangling kids, pets, or a good glass of wine, you’ll find me doing what I love most
– celebrating love stories!
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
My journey to becoming a celebrant started with a spark of inspiration. After marrying my husband, John, not once but twice (because why not?), I realised how magical and meaningful a well-crafted ceremony can be.
Watching countless celebrants over the years gave me a clear vision of how I’d do things differently – with warmth, personality, and a whole lot of heart.

In 2012, while attending a friend’s wedding, I had my “Aha!” moment.
Within a week, I was enrolled to become a celebrant, and I’ve never looked back.
Every time I pronounce a couple as married, I still get that same tingle of excitement.
